Matthew Matt James was conceived in North Carolina, on the 5th of December 1991. Matthew Matt James a mixed-race child of Manny James (of Jamaican descent) as well as Patty James. His mother is caucasian while his father is Nigerian. After graduating of Sanderson High School, in 2010 he enrolled at Wake Forest University and obtained his Bachelor's in Economics. James was first known for his role as The Bachelorette's reality star. In the year 2020, he was selected to be the next bachelor in season 25, making him the first African American male lead which later premiered in 2021. James is a perfect fit for the role as He is attractive, well-rounded and an impressive height. Rachael Krokconnell won the show when James chose to have an intimate relationship with her. Following year, 2021, he was paired with the renowned dancer Arnold in season 30 of Dancing with the Stars. James and Arnold finished 12th.
